| What is wrong with this picture? Who is ultimately responsible here? Certainly it is not the victims of gambling who find themselves seemingly trapped in this destructive cycle. It is not the promoters of gaming who are to blame.
What will bring healing? The answer may be found in the Bible. Those of us in the Christian community who understand that the nature of our being is God centered and that our true identity must be lived to the full with our whole heart continuously in this experience while avoiding indulging in acts that are contrary to it. This will bring healing for all of society.
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (II Chronicles 7:14)
